Ruckus Mission
B2B Soft is a well-known and respected technology company in the world of wireless and retail point-of-sale software products. As it was expanding, securing large client accounts like MetroPCS and Verizon, the company was seeking to differentiate and modernize the product offerings Wireless Standard and Retail Time. Simultaneously exploring marketing and advertising with redesigning the GUI (Graphic User Interface) of both platforms, B2B Soft was searching for the right partner to execute the design objectives to position the firm for a bright future.
Preparation and Groundwork
Ruckus Marketing was tasked with evaluating the competitive landscape, consider the crowded space of retail software, and develop a brand that was as visually attractive as was representative of technological superiority.
Definition of Success
The success of the project was to be based on the evaluation and feedback of current customers and prospects as that of warmed reception to the brand and the product offerings.
Positioning
Immediately following extensive research and analysis, Ruckus concluded that the products required separate identity and should drive the B2B Soft brand, contrary to the status quo. The results of the Ruckus findings indicated that Wireless Standard and Retail Time had the independent strength in name to carry individually as products in their respective markets. The branding exercise is a direct result of this finding.
Architecture and Workflow
As a product driven company, B2B Soft required a high level, executive web property that focused on its strength, support, creative, and technical talents as a firm. To accomplish this specific task, the site is simply structured to showcase management, product offerings, strategic partnerships, and technical prowess.

Significantly more complex in structure, the Wireless Standard and Retail Time Websites required an approach focused on user process, site orientation, and functionality while aesthetically delivering a world-class web property.
Creative Execution
B2B Soft tasked Ruckus with creating a completely new brand identity for its parent company, as well as its products. The resulting creative execution can be seen above. A modern technology look and feel was applied across all creative.

Feedback from customers, prospects, and industry professionals has been exceptional. Submitted for an award, The Wireless Standard website earned a 2011 Summit Communicator Award of Excellence in Design, finishing with a Silver Award.
Wireless Standard has recently earned business with Verizon, MetroPCS, and several Master Agents/Dealers across the country.
